FAQ for solar controllers, inverters and battery chargers
Direct answers for overseas distributors, solar installers, retailers and OEM partners before they request a quotation.

Company & Cooperation
Are you a manufacturer of solar controllers and inverters?
Yes. Gerixi is a China-based manufacturer focusing on solar charge controllers, power inverters and battery chargers, with factory production and OEM/ODM support.
Where is your factory located?
The factory is located in Zhaoqing Hi-Tech Zone, Sihui, Zhaoqing, Guangdong, P.R. China, close to Guangzhou and the Pearl River Delta supply chain.
Which customers do you mainly serve?
Gerixi mainly serves renewable energy distributors, solar system retailers, installers, project contractors and OEM/ODM partners in overseas markets.
Do you support OEM logo and customized packaging?
Yes. Logo, label, product color, carton marking and packaging customization can be discussed according to quantity, product family and project requirements.
Do you support OEM and customized solutions?
OEM and ODM options can include product color, labeling, interface details and packaging, subject to the selected model and order quantity.
Solar Charge Controllers
How do I choose the right solar charge controller?
Please provide solar panel wattage and open-circuit voltage, battery voltage, battery type, required charging current and whether the system needs timing or load control functions.
What is the difference between PWM and MPPT controllers?
PWM controllers are often used for simple and cost-sensitive DC systems. MPPT controllers are preferred when the buyer needs higher charging efficiency, wider PV input flexibility or larger solar systems.
Which battery types can the controllers support?
The product catalog lists support for lead-acid batteries, LiFePO4 batteries and lithium batteries on relevant controller models. Final battery compatibility should be confirmed by model.
Can Gerixi products work with lithium batteries?
Compatibility depends on the product model, battery voltage and charging requirements. Confirm the final configuration with the Gerixi team before ordering.
What wiring order should be followed for a solar charge controller?
The catalog material notes that the controller should connect to the battery first, then the PV panel, then the DC load. This helps the controller identify the battery voltage correctly.
What should I check before first wiring?
Before first wiring, confirm the battery voltage is high enough for the controller to identify the system voltage, and confirm the solar panel open-circuit voltage is within the selected model range.
Power Inverters
Should I choose a pure sine wave or modified wave inverter?
Pure sine wave output is usually better for refrigerators, pumps, motors and sensitive electronics. Modified wave inverters can be suitable for simple loads and cost-sensitive markets.
Which DC input voltages are available for inverters?
The product catalog includes inverter input options such as 12V, 24V, 48V, 60V and 72V DC, with some dual-voltage or multi-voltage options depending on model family.
How do I choose the right inverter for my system?
Confirm battery voltage, continuous load, starting surge, output waveform and expected runtime before selecting an inverter family.
Which AC output voltages can be supplied?
Catalog material lists common output options including 110V, 120V, 220V, 230V and 240V AC, with 50Hz or 60Hz options. Final configuration should match the destination market.
What protections are listed for inverter products?
Many inverter models list low-voltage, over-voltage, over-temperature, overload and short-circuit protection. Some models also include battery reverse-connection protection. Protection details are model-specific.
What display information can the inverter show?
Several catalog models include LCD or digital displays showing battery voltage, output voltage, output power and fault codes, which helps users identify operating status quickly.
Applications & System Matching
Which applications are suitable for Gerixi products?
Common applications include residential solar backup, RV and boat power, outdoor lighting, monitoring systems, small business backup and battery maintenance.
What should buyers confirm before ordering an off-grid system product?
Buyers should confirm battery voltage, solar panel input voltage, charging current, inverter output power, local AC voltage, plug type, packaging needs and certification document requirements.
Can Gerixi products be used for RV, boat and mobile power systems?
Yes. The application materials include RV, boat and outdoor power scenarios. Buyers should confirm battery voltage, appliance list, maximum starting load, socket type and local output voltage.
Can Gerixi products support indoor emergency backup power?
Yes. Indoor backup applications can support essential loads such as lights, routers, fans, computers, POS systems and small appliances when the system is matched correctly.
What is the difference between off-grid and backup power systems?
An off-grid system is designed to operate independently from utility power. A backup system normally supports selected loads when the utility supply is interrupted.
Can I request product recommendations for a project?
Yes. Share the application, system voltage, load information, battery type and target market so the team can suggest suitable product families.
Orders & Support
Do you support sample orders before bulk purchase?
Sample orders can be discussed before bulk purchase so buyers can test the product in their local market. Shipping cost and lead time are confirmed by destination.
How long is the warranty?
The standard warranty period is one year. If a confirmed product issue occurs during this period, Gerixi can support spare parts and repair guidance according to the case.
What is the usual production or shipment schedule?
Many ready or standard products can be tested and shipped within about 7 days, but the final schedule depends on product type, order quantity and actual production plan.
Is there a minimum order quantity for customization?
Customized logo, color, label, packaging and carton marking usually depend on MOQ, product type and production schedule. Please send the required customization details for confirmation.
What are your payment terms?
Common payment terms are 30% deposit and 70% balance by T/T before shipment. Final terms should be confirmed with the sales team for each order.

Documents & Certifications
Which product documents can I request?
Buyers can request product catalogs, model specifications, user manuals, certification documents and quotation information according to the selected product family.
Do CE and RoHS documents apply to all products?
No. The supplied CE and RoHS documents cover specific inverter models and should be checked against the exact model being purchased.
What information should I send for a quotation?
Send product category, model if known, required quantity, target price, destination port or country, battery voltage, output voltage, plug type, logo option and packaging requirement.
